Lo and behold! There’s a new workout in town! If you love swimming and would love to mix things up a bit to have an even more intense workout to lose those inches readily then nothing seems like a better solution to your weight issues than Aqua Aerobics. I, for one would love to lose my pregnancy inches and for that my go to solution would definitely be aqua aerobics. There is no other place that I know of that’s offering aqua aerobic sessions in the vicinity. That’s what makes it even more exciting!! (Jaypee’s Vasant Continental used to offer these sessions ages ago). To top it all the aqua aerobic sessions are being being offered by none other than the renowned fitness guru Kiran Sawhney. That’s more than what you bargained for!
Shangri-La’s – Eros Hotel, New Delhi has been offering aqua aerobics sessions by renowned trainer Kiran Sawhney since 3 June 2016 onwards.
Kiran Sawhney is one of the most sought – after personal fitness trainers in the country with over 20 years of experience in water aerobics, including aqua zumba, Pilates and kickboxing.
Aqua aerobics offers multiple health benefits for any fitness level and helps improve overall fitness. It also helps with weight reduction and toning the body. Water resistance increases the intensity of the exercise. Additionally, aqua aerobics ensures that the joints and the cardiovascular system are protected during the exercise. A one-hour session of Aqua Aerobics can help burn up to 850 calories since water resistance increases the intensity of the exercise.
The session starts with basic walking on the pool floor followed by cardio and core strengthening exercises. As opposed to other workout routines, Aqua Aerobics is a fun activity, which can be enjoyed by all age groups
Sawhney’s aqua aerobics classes are available every Tuesday and Friday evening starting
3 June 2016 till 31 July, 2016.
